Short version: this website does not track you.
This website
- No cookies are set.
- No analytics or tracking scripts are used.
- No fonts, scripts, images or stylesheets are loaded from third-party servers, so visiting these pages does not tell anyone else that you were here.
- There is no form, login or newsletter, so nothing is submitted.
As with any web server, requests appear in standard access logs. These record the requesting network address, a timestamp, the address requested, the response code and size, the referring page and the browser's user-agent string. They are used for troubleshooting and to spot abuse, kept for a short period, and not shared or used for anything else.
If you write to us, we keep the message and your reply address for as long as it is useful to the conversation, and delete it afterwards. We do not add anyone to a mailing list.
Client work
Work carried out for a client can involve access to their systems and data. That access is limited to what the work requires, agreed in writing beforehand, and removed once the work is finished. Details are set out in the agreement for each engagement rather than on this page.
